THE SURPRISE OFFER!!!

So today I was at the hospital and the janeter comes in just to say hi. Me, my two mentors and the janetor start talking, first the conversatio was about cars and how when you are drivind an old car your kids dont want to ride with you...... but then we started talking about his job and how the other day he had to fix a pipe in the morgue, and how he saw little girls my age with gunshots in the back of their heads and in their faces!!!! then he said good by but before he left he asked me if i wanter a toure in the morgue..... but i said no !!! As he left he said that if I ever wanted a toure I knew where to find him. When I got home I told my mom about the offer I got and she said that it may seem scary but that I should take the chance, because its good knowledge to have later on in life !!!!I thought aboput it over nite and came to the conclusion that I don't know what I want to do!!! I mean I wanna do it but! Im not too sure if Im ready to see what thinhs I know i will have to see down there!!! Now I have a questoon for you all that are looking at this blog!!! What do you think I should do? should I......
A. Do it and get the knoeledge?
B. waite till the time is right to do it?
C. Don't do it at all unless its mandatory?
When you all answer this question !! please be real with me and tell me why I should or should not do it !!!! giving some advice would be nice too !!!

THE REAL WORK BEGINS!!

Hey there you guys, yesterday was my first day of real work in the Vascular Lab at Highland Hospital. It was cool in the beginning because I was energized and into it, when it was lunch time my mentors..... and yes i said mentors, I feel like i have four mentors even though heather is my main mentor, but I cant for get about the people I work with in the vascular lab .... there my mentors too because there the ones that teach me every thing i know about the vascular lab and along side of heather, they give me advice. Anyway two of my mentors took me out to Edward&Jones for lunch and we talked and had fun.... When we got back we had to get back to work!!! this was some thing I had to get used to because as an observer !!! sitting there and watching whats going on after lunch is hard because i felt my self dosing off, but I managed to stay awake. when my time was up and I was ok to leave my mentors wanted to talk to me !!! they told me that its ok if I feel board !!!Now in my mind im thinking are you crazy its not ok to fall asleep durring my internship !!! and then he said your just being a student !!! because I know its boaring !!! I said ok thanks and I left !!! working at Highland reminds me of the t.v show scrubs !!! every thing that goes on there is true and im liking it

WHAT WENT DOWN AT HIGHLAND HOSPITAL!

Well because I didn't go to the second part o the orientation I had to go back again to learn what i missed. It was pretty cool to me, i learned about GERM, BACTIREA, PARACITES,and more. After I got done with that I got the chance to take my picture fotr my hospital badge, and i got my lab coat><<<> I think that i'm going to love this job / internship because It focuses on what i want to do and be in life so thats what is most exciting about it.

Hey, im so happy I finally got my internship at Highland Hospital. When i first went there I was a bit disapointed because I found out that I was not going to be on the floor of my specific interest, but then it came to my atenttion the they were going to take us through every thing so that we can learn because we were going to have to do it any way. The next day that I went I had to get some papers signed by my mom because in oder to intern there I had to take a TB test. when my papers were signed I took them in that tuesday and got my shot. It really didn't hurt, but it just felt weird having a big lump on my arm for that evening. When I got home that afternoon the bump had gone down but there was still a red mark there, they warned me that that would happen, but that it would fadre away after a while. I'm so excited about my internship and i can't waite to get started on the real work.
